Skin care products are applied to the surface of the skin – but this is not enough, as they only remain in the top layer of the skin. The breakdown of collagen and hyaluron takes place in the deep layers of the skin. This is what matters: the bioactive ingredients in the ELASTEN® drinking ampoules reach these skin layers via the bloodstream from the inside.
The important structures of the deep skin layers
Collagen is the most important structural protein in the human body. It has a fibrous structure and accounts for more than 30 percent of the total mass of all proteins in the body. Collagen is an essential component of connective tissue, bones, teeth, cartilage, tendons, ligaments and the skin. 80 percent of the skin consists of the structural protein.
Influences such as solar radiation, environmental toxins such as particulate matter, nicotine, hormones or diet can have an impact on the body’s collagen balance. In addition, collagen production already slows down from the age of 25 and continues to decrease over the course of life.

How do I take ELASTEN® and how well does it tolerate?
Take one drinking ampoule of ELASTEN® daily after a meal. Ideally, it should be taken in the morning after breakfast, as the metabolism is more active during the day and thus the nutrients are better distributed in the body.
It is very well tolerated and suitable for long-term use. Interactions with medications, products or cosmetics are not known or expected for ELASTEN® or for the individual ingredients. It is alcohol-, lactose- and gluten-free.

How do the collagen peptides end up where they are supposed to?
The [HC] Collagen Complex® (only found in ELASTEN®) is very similar to the natural collagen in the body and can therefore be easily absorbed by the body.
