ELASTEN^® is of course also suitable for men. Despite some differences between female and male skin, in both a decrease in collagen production is often responsible for unwelcome wrinkles, decreasing elasticity and lack of skin hydration. ELASTEN^® also provides male skin with important dermo-nutrients such as vitamin C for collagen production in the skin and thus ensures radiant beauty for them as well.

After oral ingestion, the short-chain collagen peptides are further broken down in the gastric passage by the enzymes present in the stomach (e.g. pepsin). This natural digestive process occurs in the same way in our daily food intake. The reduction process breaks down the already small peptides into even smaller fragments of three or two contiguous as well as individual amino acids. This is necessary for effective absorption of the peptides and amino acids in the small intestine. If the peptides were to enter the small intestine without prior contact with gastric acid, bioavailability would be significantly lower. The digestion process in the stomach is therefore of crucial importance.

It is not necessary to store ELASTEN^® in the refrigerator, but this is possible without any problems. The ingredients are not affected by this. Many users even find that ELASTEN^® tastes better when refrigerated.

All ingredients in ELASTEN^® are approved for medicinal products, foods and dietary supplements, are well tolerated and do not exceed the reference amounts for the daily intake of vitamins and minerals. There are no known indications that the individual ingredients should not be taken during pregnancy and lactation. For this reason, no data known to us speak against taking ELASTEN^® also during pregnancy and lactation. However, since there are no direct product-specific studies on the use of ELASTEN^® during pregnancy and lactation itself, we ask you to discuss its use with your pharmacist or attending physician.

Skin physiology runs its course slowly, so ELASTEN^® should generally be taken over a longer period of at least three months. Studies conducted with ELASTEN^® demonstrate the best results from this period onwards. The first positive beauty effects are already visible after four weeks – these intensify in the further course of the intake. ELASTEN^® is very well tolerated and can therefore also be taken permanently.

The main ingredient in ELASTEN^® is the [HC]-Collagen Complex^® with special collagen peptides, which was specially developed for ELASTEN^®. In addition, ELASTEN^® contains a high-quality acerola fruit extract and vitamin C, which is essential for the production of collagen. In addition, the vitamin E complex of natural mixed tocopherols helps the skin to better protect itself against oxidative stress. Biotin and zinc additionally contribute to the maintenance of normal, healthy skin.
