The quality of collagen peptides can differ widely. The term by itself doesn’t say anything about composition or quality. That’s why it’s important that studies are conducted directly on the actual product. Looking only at the individual ingredients is not sufficient.
ELASTEN® was studied in multiple placebo-controlled clinical trials. Some participants received ELASTEN®, while others were given a product with no active ingredient (placebo). This allows researchers to clearly determine whether the observed changes were really due to ELASTEN®. The results of these studies have been published internationally. They show that taking ELASTEN® led to significant improvements in several measures of skin condition compared with the placebo group. These include smoothness, skin roughness and skin firmness. Improvements were measurable and noticeable to participants on the face, décolleté, forearm, and thigh.
