ON THE TOPIC SKIN - RECONSTRUCTION

The skin consists of three firmly connected layers, one above the other. It is a natural barrier that protects us from harmful environmental influences and pathogens. At the same time, the skin serves the sensory perception – from temperature to pain. And of course, the skin significantly determines our appearance and our appearance. True beauty and a natural radiance is therefore always a matter of skin.

EPIDERMIS

The epidermis is the outermost layer.
It, in turn, is formed from several interlocking layers that renew themselves regularly. On average, this process takes about 28 days, in older people a little longer.

SUBKUTIS

The lowest layer is the highly stretchable hypodermis.
It consists mainly of loose connective tissue and is attached to the underlying bones and muscles. The hair roots are anchored in the subcutis. In addition, sweat glands, sebaceous glands, scent glands, nerves and larger lymph and blood vessels are located here. The entire tissue is supplied with blood vessels and nutrients via the subcutis.

DERMIS

The middle layer is the dermis.
This connective tissue determines the tensile strength of the skin, this is also where the unloved wrinkles appear. The dermis consists of a fibrous network that mainly contains collagen. In addition to its supporting function, it is responsible for thermoregulation, scarring processes and the breakdown of waste products.

BASALLAMINA

There is a natural protective barrier between the epidermis and dermis.
Creams and serums applied to the skin from the outside cannot overcome this layer. Therefore, the ingredients do not reach the deeper layers of the skin. To counteract the cause of skin aging, the nutrients that are important for the skin must be absorbed from the inside. This paradigm shift is the key to sustainable skin care.
