The body’s collagen production decreases steadily from the age of 25. ELASTEN® is also very well tolerated when taken continuously!

The ELASTEN® ampoules are easy and practical to use: they are ready to drink and ideal for on the go – compared to collagen powders, which first have to be stirred into liquid. Liquid is also more easily absorbed by the stomach than a tablet, so that the ingredients are available to the body quickly and effectively. The ingredients are distributed through the blood vessels in the body and thus reach the deep layers of the skin.
ELASTEN® is characterized by very good tolerability and is suitable for long-term use. Interactions with medication are not known or expected for ELASTEN® or for the individual ingredients. Reactions or intolerances occurring in individual cases cannot be completely ruled out with ELASTEN®, as is generally the case with food and natural active ingredients. ELASTEN® is alcohol-free, lactose-free and gluten-free.

No, but they are broken down further. This is necessary for effective absorption of the peptides and amino acids in the small intestine. If the peptides were to enter the small intestine without prior contact with stomach acid, their bioavailability would be significantly lower. The digestion process in the stomach is therefore of crucial importance.
Storing ELASTEN® in the refrigerator is not necessary, but is possible without any problems. The ingredients are not affected by this. Many users find ELASTEN® tastes even better when chilled.
All ingredients in ELASTEN® are approved as dietary supplements, are well tolerated and do not exceed the reference amounts for the daily intake of vitamins and minerals. There are no known indications for the individual ingredients that they should not be taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding. For this reason, there is no known data to suggest that ELASTEN® should not be taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Due to its excellent tolerability, ELASTEN® can generally be used permanently. This ensures a continuous supply of collagen peptides and dermonutrients to the skin. Breaks after taking ELASTEN® are possible, but not necessary. When the intake should be repeated after a break depends largely on the individual results, so it is difficult to make a general statement on this. As studies have shown that the effects of ELASTEN® last for at least 4-8 weeks, it is recommended to repeat the daily intake after this period.
The short-chain collagen peptides specially developed for ELASTEN® are obtained from collagen-containing raw materials of animal origin and are produced in a special enzymatic process. Collagen-containing components of the skin (bovine) are used for production. ELASTEN® is manufactured in Germany to the highest quality standards.
Studies have clearly proven the effect of the special collagen peptides on the skin. A quantity of 2.5 g of collagen peptides was sufficient. Double the amount did not significantly increase the effects.
Specifically, one drink ampoule (25 ml) of ELASTEN® contains the following nutritional values:
• Protein: 2.58 g
• Carbohydrates: 3.55 g, of which sugar: One drink ampoule of ELASTEN® (25 ml) contains 2.73 g of fructose. This corresponds to approximately the amount found in ¼ of an apple.
• Fat: 0.04 g
One ampoule of ELASTEN® contains 26 kcal (111 kJ). This covers barely more than 1 % of the calorie requirement of a woman aged 25 and over.
